Alarming statistics show the urgency of the sexual health crisis in the United States

We’re a sexually active society, but condom use is burdened with outdated ideas about promiscuity and “bad intentions”. That’s a dangerous reality given that in the United States, 1 in 4 teenage girls (between the ages of 14-19) is infected with at least one of the most common STDs: human papilloma virus (HPV), chlamydia, herpes simplex virus, and trichomoniasis1.

The figures grow more alarming each year as:

  • 19 million STDs are contracted2
  • 750,000 unintended pregnancies occur3
  • 56,300 new HIV infections are reported4

Information can make a difference. The more all of us spread the word about the dangers of unprotected sex, the sooner we can reduce these statistics. So please use these downloads and links to support your efforts in educating patients and clients.
